Nominations open for Best Book award 2026
The EPSS Best Book Award recognizes an outstanding scholarly contribution to the field of political science. Through this award, the Society seeks to highlight scholarship that advances the discipline and fosters dialogue across its sections. The prize is awarded to a book that the jury deems to be an original and significant contribution to the study of politics, methodologically rigorous and conceptually innovative, and written in a way that speaks to and engages a broad audience.
Self-nominations are possible using this form only. Eligible books must be authored or co-authored by a current member of EPSS. The book must be published in English as a monograph and have a copyright date of 2024 or 2025. Unpublished or edited books are not eligible. Nomination deadline: March 31, 2026. The winner of the award will be announced during the EPSS Annual Conference in Belfast 2026.
