Register for Belfast

Update (2 February 2026): Papers and proposals have been accepted for Belfast 2026! We have a fabulous collection of nearly 300 panels plus special roundtables, dialogues, and events. Time now (before 13 March!) to accept your invitation and register for the conference. You are welcome to Belfast even if you did not submit a paper and even if your paper did not make it onto the program. Come take part in events, or contact section chairs to volunteer as a chair or discussant.

How to confirm participation and register

If your paper or panel was accepted you should have received a link to register via email. Please be sure to log into the registration system using the same email address as you used when you submitted.

You can always register for the conference using the general registration link, for example, if you are a coauthor, or are participating in any other way.

FAQs

Do I need to be a member of EPSS to register? The EPSS meeting is intended for EPSS members. Ordinary members and student members have access to discounted rates. It is possible however to register without being a member (though this is generally the more expensive option).
What panel is my paper on? All papers have already been provisionally assigned to panels by section chairs---provisional panel assignments have not been released. Final assignment will be done after confirmation of papers and registrations.
Can a paper be accepted even if the panel it is on was rejected? Yes and this happens a lot. To accommodate the many submissions, many panels were formally reformulated. In this case panels were officially rejected and substantively similar panels were then formed.
I am seeing multiple options on the registration page; which one do I choose? We advise that you first sign up for membership and then register for the conference, selecting the cheaper member rate. We understand in some cases people need a single receipt for reimbursement purposes, in which case you can select the bundled option on the registration page and later receive a voucher for membership (not encouraged, but possible). If you have reason not to want to choose membership you can select the non member option.
Can I confirm my paper on the program without registering? No! You confirm your paper by registering. You can register without confirming but you cannot confirm without registering.
My coauthor and I both submitted and only one was accepted, who should register? Whichever coauthor recieved the acceptance link should use that link to register and confirm the paper in the program. Other coauthors can simply register via the general registration link.

Can I get a letter to support my Visa application? Yes. Please write to admin@epssnet.org
It looks like I was reimbursed for my registration. What does that mean? A small number of first registrations had to be reimbursed because of a glitch in the payments set up. In those cases you will get a request to re-register (with apologies)
