Nominations open for EPSS Best Conference Paper Award

The EPSS Best Conference Paper recognizes an outstanding paper that was presented at the EPSS conference in the previous year. For the 2027, papers are eligible that were presented at the 2026 EPSS Annual Conference in Belfast. Self-nominations or nominations by chairs or panel participants are possible using this form only. Eligible paper must be authored or co-authored by a current member of EPSS. Nomination deadline: 31 August 2026. The winner of the award will be announced during the EPSS Annual Conference in Copenhagen 2027.

Nominations open for EPSS Best Book Award 2027

The 2027 EPSS Best Book Award recognizes an outstanding scholarly contribution to the field of political science. Through this award, the Society seeks to highlight scholarship that advances the discipline and fosters dialogue across its sections. The prize is awarded to a book that the jury deems to be an original and significant contribution to the study of politics, methodologically rigorous and conceptually innovative, and written in a way that speaks to and engages a broad audience.

Nominations are possible using this form only. Self-nominations preferred. Eligible books must be authored or co-authored by a current member of EPSS. The book must be published in English as a monograph and have a copyright date of 2025 or 2026. Unpublished or edited books are not eligible. Nomination deadline: 31 March 2027. The winner of the award will be announced during the EPSS Annual Conference in Copenhagen 2027.
