Overview of EPSS Council Governance

EPSS is governed by a Council, which is the principal governing and representative body of the association. It consists of twelve voting members, three of which are directly elected for three-year terms by the EPSS membership following an open nominations process (in the transition phase, the elected EPSA Council members will fill these positions).
Decisions are taken by majority vote. Council Responsibilities include tasks such as strategic oversight of EPSS activities, organizing conferences and events, overseeing EPSS publications and communications, managing elections and membership, or coordinating career development activities, including awarding of prizes in recognition of member contributions.

EPSS members are invited to join the Annual General Meeting (AGM), which is held once per year, typically during the Association’s annual conference.
